By looking at government’s program in infrastructure, maritime, energy and food (IMEP) within Mid-Term National Development Plan (RPJMN 2015-2019), a policy on forest and land conversion is inevitable as its result. However, a thorough assessment is needed in order to analyze plausible impacts considering that various regulations and policies that are forest conversion-related appear to be prone to corruption.
